The Zoetrope was my 2nd Year collaboration Film project, in which I was the Producer and part of the animation team. I also worked on character design for expressions and pose sheets. The brief was to create a short film inspired by "The Spirit of Animation" as the concept. 

The film was all animated, cleaned up and coloured in Adobe Animate. Editing done in After Effects and Premiere Pro.

 

It follows Abigail, A young Victorian girl moving into an old house with her mean Aunt Arugula. When moving in she discovers a mysterious device, a Zoetrope, which she is curious about. Once investigated it reveals a mysterious creature that attempts to befriend and deceive her.​
